Meagan began her career as a nurse working in oncology and end of life care. Five years in, she was up to 20 medications to treat her aggressive MS and doing her best to keep practicing as her body shut down. She began to question the resistance both her doctors and the doctors she worked with had against medical cannabis, and decided to leave her nurse practitioner program in 2019 to obtain an inaugurals masters degree in medical cannabis science and therapeutics. These days, she treats her MS only with plant medicine and she organizes cannabis and consciousness events, has her own line of infused self care products, and works part time at Curaleaf bringing her passion for education to employees and patients alike! She is particularly passionate about cannabis use with other plant medicines and as an entheogenic tool.
