Founder of CSC Events

Josh Crossney is the President, CEO & Founder of CSC Events, LLC., which hosts and operates the world’s largest scientific and medical cannabis event, the semi-annual Cannabis Science Conference (www.CannabisScienceConference.com). Josh has a background in analytical science recruiting and event planning and is working to bridge the gaps between traditional science and the cannabis industry to help improve the quality of cannabis products being used by patients and consumers.

Josh is also the President & Founder of jCanna, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of cannabis science, analytical testing, and personalized (precision) medicine. Josh is especially passionate about helping pediatric cannabis patients suffering from debilitating illnesses and serves as an Advisory Board member to CannaKids, a California based organization devoted to advocacy, education and information sharing for patients of all ages.

Josh received the Vanguard Award at the 2019 Strides in Science Awards Gala for his global advocacy in advancing cannabis science, was named as one of the “Top 25 Innovators in 2020” by Cannabis & Tech Today and one of five “Inspirational Mentors” on the Cannabis Scientists 2021 power list, was featured in Marijuana Venture’s “40 Under 40: Rising Stars in the Cannabis Industry”, has been recognized two years in a row at the Cannabis Business Awards as 2016 & 2017 MVP of the Year and was the featured cover story for 1000 Watts Magazine’s 4/20/2017 issue and Sensi Magazine’s Maryland launch and 4/20/2020 issue.  Josh’s company, CSC Events, LLC., was named as the “Best Annual Cannabis Science Event” by Global Health & Pharma in their 2019, 2020 & 2021 Medical Marijuana Awards. Josh has also been featured for his work in the cannabis industry in major media outlets, such as Forbes, Huffing Post, CTV New and many others. Josh is an internationally recognized public speaker and has traveled around the globe educating about cannabis.

Josh is a contributing author for multiple publications and has done on-camera hosting and moderating for cannabis industry and traditional scientific media outlets. Josh also serves as Contributing Editor and Columnist for Cannabis Science & Technology magazine.

Josh is a member of the LGBTQ community, and a voice for equal rights worldwide. He often speaks out about diversity inclusion in the cannabis industry, including equality of race, gender, sexual orientation and economic/social standing. Joshua has a motto of collaboration, not competition in this emerging industry where so much still needs to be accomplished.
