
Anthony Gonzalez, LCSW, QS
Anthony Gonzalez, LCSW, QS, is Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in the state of Florida. He completed his BA in Human Development and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Welfare at the University of Kanas. He is the owner and clinical supervisor at Alere Emotional Health, a mental health practice that specializes in the treatment of PTSD.
Anthony’s has served in the mental health field in many capacities, including having professional experience in corrections, hospice, and end of life care; as well as having served as the Clinical Director of a premier mental health facility in south Florida for 7 years before entering private practice. Anthony is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy through the Linehan Institute and has Advanced Training in the DBT Protocols for Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Anthony is also Level 2 trained in EMDR and uses the principles of Internal Family Systems to help treat the effects of traumatic events on individuals and families.
Anthony recently completed the MDMA Therapy Training Program through the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and hopes to be a leading clinical voice for the use of non-ordinary states of consciousness to treat PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and many other mental health challenges. Anthony regularly lectures on trauma therapy and DBT at local universities and consults with several local corporations on employee wellness.
